Firozabad BJP candidate accuses SP of using minors for bogus voting
BJP candidate from Firozabad Lok Sabha seat SP Singh Baghel has accused Samajwadi Party workers of capturing several booths.

Firozabad: BJP candidate from Firozabad Lok Sabha seat SP Singh Baghel has accused Samajwadi Party workers of capturing several booths and bogus voting in Jamrana area during the polling on April 24. According to Baghel many Samajwadi Party workers indulged in bogus voting. He also accused that some children voted even as the voting age is 18 years.

Baghel claimed that he had recorded a video of the entire thing and sent it to the Election Commission along with a written complaint. Interestingly senior Samajwadi Party leader Ram Gopal Yadav's son Akshay Pratap is party candidate from Firozabad.

In a complaint sent to the Election Commission, Baghel said that there was a high likelihood of 300 booth being captured. "So I had requested that paramilitary forces be deployed during the elections. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav cousin Akshay Yadav is contest for Lok Sabha," he said.

An FIR against Baghel and 500 others has been for pelting stones, setting afire to a police vehicle among other things during a dharna demanding repoll.
