Mutation of land purchased by Robert Vadra's firms in Rajasthan cancelled

Jaipur: The mutation of land purchased in Rajasthan by Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra's firm Skylight Hospitality Private Limited has been cancelled by the state government on Sunday.

Vadra's Skylight Hospitality's transaction with DLF had been under the scanner for a long time.

The areas include Gajner, Goileri and Kolayat Tehsil. District officials say this is part of the scrutiny of various land deals in the region. It has been followed by cancellation of land mutation and seizure of land in case of irregularity.

Bikaner MP Arjun Ram Meghwal told media persons, "When BJP came to power, MPs wrote to CM about Vadra's land deals."

"The MPs pointed out that there are irregularities in land deals," he added.

While on the other hand, Archana Sharma, Congress leader from Rajasthan said, "This is political vendetta, if anything investigation should be done against Vasundhara Raje government."

Further probe has been ordered into the case.
