84. Narayanpur is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Chhattisgarh and is part of Bastar (ST) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Narayanpur falls in Narayanpur, Bastar, Kondagaon district and South region of Chhattisgarh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 1,76,030 voters in the seat, which includes 85,425 male voters, and 90,604 female voters. In the 2018 Chhattisgarh elections, Narayanpur recorded a voter turnout of 74.88%. In 2013 the turnout was 70.17%, and in 2008 it was 60.95%.
In 2013, Kedar Kashyap of BJP won the seat by a margin of 12,800 votes (11.38%). Kedar Kashyap secured 48.78% of the total votes polled.
BJP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 21,635 votes (24.47%), registering 54.8% of the total votes polled.
