New Delhi: Both Houses of the Parliament have been adjourned till Friday after uproar over issues of price rise and Telangana.
Pro-Telangana MPs raised slogans for a separate statehood demand.
Earlier, the third day of the winter session of Parliament began with an uproar in both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha over the issue of price rise even as the TDP gave an adjournment motion notice on price rise while the Left, too, agreed to a discussion under rule 193 that does not entail voting.
Meanwhile, the government is likely to give in to the Opposition's demand for an adjournment motion on the black money issue.
Senior BJP leader LK Advani will move an adjournment motion on black money asking the government to explain the situation arising out of the black money deposited in foreign banks and the action being taken against the guilty.
The BJP Parliamentary party met on Thursday morning to discuss their strategy.
The government has been under a lot of pressure to reveal the names of the around 800 tax evaders.
Last week CNN-IBN had learnt that a Parliamentary Panel had grilled Finance Ministry Officials On the black money issue and set a 15-day deadline for action on tax evaders.
MPs had also asked Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee to disclose the names of the evaders. MPs had asked him to disclose the opinion given by the Attorney General of India as well.
But Pranab claimed that the Attorney General had advised against making the disclosures. The House Panel also wanted to know why no prosecution has so far happened.
MPs had also threatened to invoke privilege if details were not shared.
Sources say that Pranab told them that a disclosure will end India's chances of getting any further lists from banks in tax havens.
