TDP suspends Mysura for proximity with Jagan
The former Rajya Sabha member is likely to join Jagan Reddy's YSR Congress soon.

Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has suspended MV Mysura Reddy for breach of discipline and for his alleged proximity to YSR Congress chief Jagan Mohan Reddy. The former Rajya Sabha member is likely to join Reddy's YSR Congress soon whom he met on Friday morning.

TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu took serious note of Mysura's breakfast meeting with Jagan and ordered his immediate suspension from the party. Mysura drove to the Lotus Pond residence of the Kadapa MP in Hyderabad and had an interaction with the latter, giving credence to talk that his joining the YSR Congress was now a mere formality.

Mysura Reddy is reportedly unhappy over the party not renominating him for a second Rajya Sabha term. Reddy also skipped TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu's recent tour to Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh.

Mysura Reddy, who was a Congress member, had joined the TDP after differences cropped up between him and former Andhra chief minister late YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

He had contested against Jagan in the last Kadapa byelections after Naidu reportedly assured him that he would be renominated to the Rajya Sabha for a second term.
