7. Tuivawl is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Mizoram and is part of Mizoram Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Tuivawl falls in Aizawl district and Aizwal region of Mizoram. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 16,237 voters in the seat, which includes 8,079 male voters, and 8,158 female voters. In the 2018 Mizoram elections, Tuivawl recorded a voter turnout of 80.77%. In 2013 the turnout was 82.73%, and in 2008 it was 81.6%.
In 2013, R L Pianmawia of INC won the seat by a margin of 1,371 votes (10.98%). R L Pianmawia secured 45.41% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 473 votes (4.06%), registering 36.69% of the total votes polled.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, INC led in the Tuivawl Assembly segment of the Mizoram Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
