New Delhi: After teasing it for a couple of days, Motorola has finally launched the Turbo Edition of its Moto G smartphone. The highlight of this new variant is that it includes a TurboPower charger, which gives users up to 6 hours of power in 15 minutes of charging. The phone, however, bears almost the same specs as the regular Moto G that was introduced in July this year.
Priced at Rs 14,499, the phone will be exclusively available on Flipkart from December 10 (starting 12 noon). It will come in two variants - Black with DeepSea Blue back and White with Slate back.
With the launch of the Moto G Turbo Edition, Motorola has announced a few offers including 100 per cent cashback for 100 lucky Turbo buyers. There is also an exchange offer available lets Moto G Turbo buyers trade in their old smartphone for up to Rs 6,000.
The standard Moto G (2015) with 16 GB of storage comes at Rs 12,999, which means that the Turbo Edition variant costs Rs 1500 more than the regular model.
Under its hood is a a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor with 2 GB of RAM. There's IP67 rated protection to keep your phone safe from water and dust.
Other specifications include 5-inch 720p display, Android Lollipop 5.1.1, microSD card support of up to 32 GB, dual micro-SIM, 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera.
Motorola had in October this year launched its flagship Moto X Style in India that also includes a similar TurboPower feature.
