Romantic relationships, where there’s a huge age difference between the partners, are often frowned upon by others. People remain sceptical over the longevity of such relationships. Many believe that huge age differences may give rise to compatibility issues. This notion doesn’t hold true for all couples though. Many have had or are having happy marriages. Today, we are going to tell you about one such couple, where the husband is 35 years older than his wife. The woman named Kelly Liza Marie Wil, aged 32 years, shared her story on social media. She went on a rant about how people scoffed at her marriage. As her husband was receiving a good amount of money as pension, many people lambasted her, accusing her of marrying the man for his money.
Kelly said that at present her husband is 67 years old, but both of them met 10 years ago. At that time, he was 57 years old and she was only 22 years old. Recently, Kelly has shared a video on social media and has written that 10 years passed in a jiffy and they did not even realise, hence proving her detractors – who said the marriage would not last – wrong.
Kelly posted a TikTok selfie of themselves recently along with an audio clip from Adele’s popular song When We Were Young, starting a new trend that has quickly gone viral online. Shortly after, though, the stunning brunette posted a picture of the couple from their earliest dating days, writing, “My God this reminds me …of when we were young.”
Kelly has started a trend on TikTok where couples are sharing photos of their younger selves along with their present ones with Adele’s song in the background. While most of the comments for Kelly were positive, some were not too kind and posted comments like, “Get that bag girl, couple more years he will be gone and then that pension is yours.”
