While sharing this photo, Zuckerberg wrote, “My Facebook profile from 2004."

On February 4, he shared a video on Instagram that captured how Facebook grew into Meta Platforms over the years. While sharing this video, he wrote, “20 years ago I launched a thing. Along the way, lots of amazing people joined and we built some more awesome things. We’re still at it and the best is yet to come." This post has gathered over 3.7 lakh likes so far. Praising Zuckerberg’s entrepreneurship, an Instagram user wrote, “He was and still is, probably one the best minds on planet Earth right now. You have no idea how many entrepreneurs you have made without your knowledge. They have dreamed of being someone like you. You have planted a seed in young people’s minds to become successful in life."

Zuckerberg also shared two photos that showed him working in his old Harvard dorm in 2004 and later working from his home office. He captioned these photos as, “20 years in. Still at it." His wife Priscilla Chan, whom he met back in Harvard, reminisced about their old days and wrote, “I remember that dorm room like it was yesterday."

A few people also noted how Zuckerberg stacks his laptop over books instead of using a laptop stand. Making this observation, an Instagram user joked, “Somebody that knows him, get him a portable computer stand, please."

Back in 2004, Zuckerberg appeared on a CNBC show with journalist Dylan Ratigan after Facebook created a stir amongst college students. In this interview, which aired on April 28, 2004, Zuckerberg described Facebook as a place to “find some interesting information about people." The young entrepreneur said that initially, they had hoped for 400 to 500 people to sign up but quickly reached almost 100,000 within months. Talking about his then plans, Zuckerberg said, “We’re going to launch a bunch of side applications, which should keep people coming back to the site, and maybe we can make something cool."
