Professor Waves To The Camera After Being Pranked By Students, Internet Says ‘Wholesome’

Social media has become a go-to platform for individuals to generate and consume content. People often prank their friends, family and record their reactions, which go viral in no time. But pranking a teacher, especially in India, is usually risky as it can often have consequences. However, it seems like the students at Bengaluru’s Christ University took a chance and orchestrated a prank on their teacher regardless, and the result was worth it.

The teacher’s heartwarming reaction after being pranked has won the hearts of netizens. The video has garnered 37.8 million views and thousands of comments.

In the video, two girls staged a fight in the classroom, arguing over something, in response to which the teacher joined the matter. The students then revealed that they were arguing over which sentence between ‘You is sleep’ or ‘you can sleep’ is correct. Answering this, the teacher chose the obvious answer—’you can sleep’.

What happened next left both the professor and viewers baffled. As soon as the professor replied to the students, all others immediately put their heads down on their desks, pretending to fall asleep. After the professor realised he had been pranked, he took it all in stride.

With a sweet smile, he asked if he was also being recorded in the reel. Upon learning he was, the professor gave an adorable wave to the camera, winning the hearts of viewers. The video was shared on Instagram with the caption, “Pookie professor.”

A majority of users loved the teacher’s cute reaction and the way he took the prank, with many comparing him with their professors and teachers. A few jokingly said that their teacher would have snatched the phone and punished them for such pranks.
