Simone Biles has had a stellar series of performances at the Paris Olympics. She is one of the most decorated American athletes in Olympic history with eleven medals. Three years after withdrawing from the Tokyo Games due to mental health issues, Biles made a triumphant comeback to the Olympics in Paris this time, winning four medals, including three gold. Rivaling in front of a star-studded crowd, she was certainly the most popular attraction at the Paris Olympics. In addition to the innumerable people who saw Biles lead the US to the gold medal, her enormous fan base was also illustrated by one Instagram user who dedicated a significant portion of his time to creating an artwork of the star athlete using thousands of dice.
The user gradually created an image of Simone Biles by placing thousands of dice, one by one, on a table. The gymnast is shown smiling in the image, which also includes the multicoloured Olympic rings.

The video went instantly viral on Instagram garnering more than 17 million views.

Meanwhile, the Paris Summer Olympics has come to an end. Over 10,000 athletes paraded past the Stade de France, located north of Paris. Manu Bhaker and PR Sreejesh represented India as flag-bearers at the closing ceremony.
The event started with a musical as French swimming champion Leon Marchand extinguished the cauldron before carrying the lantern with the Olympic flame to the stadium. The atmosphere was charged with emotion when the Olympic anthem was played and Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo gave the Olympic flag to her Los Angeles counterpart Karen Bass. It symbolised bringing the next edition of the Games to Los Angeles in 2028. Furthermore, Tom Cruise dived into the stadium and took the Olympic flag and rode off on a motorbike.
As the Olympic flame was extinguished to signal the conclusion of the 33rd edition of the Games, Yseult gave a performance of her classic hit song, My Way, which portrays a strong bond between France and the USA.
