Video Of One Woman Walking Another On Leash In Mumbai Leaves Internet Confused
The video was reportedly taken in the Mira-Bhayandar area of Mumbai.

A bizarre video showing a woman wearing a dress and a big hat walking another woman on a leash in Mumbai has gone viral. The woman, tied to a leash, is dressed in a black outfit and is walking like a four-legged animal on the road. At some point, the woman in the dress pats the woman on the leash as if petting a dog. This strange video was reportedly shot in the Mira-Bhayandar area of Mumbai. The identity of the people in the video is not known.

An X user posted it online and wrote, “What happened to Mumbai? How can people go to this low for views on social media?” The X user tagged the Mumbai Police and Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and wrote, “Is this kind of act allowed in public places?”

In the comments, many expressed confusion and outrage over the video. An X user exclaimed, “People have gone crazy!!” Another person wrote, “Reels are destroying our society.” Someone described the video as, a “Clear act of outraging modesty of women in a public place.”

This was not the only video showing someone on a leash. Back in 2022, Jordan Driskell, a dad of five kids from Kentucky, USA, created a stir after he posted a video in which he put his quintuplets on a leash as they went for a walk. While many criticised Driskell, many others supported him.

Commenting on this video, an Instagram user wrote, “When you have 5 children who go in all directions. Then try keeping all 5 together yourself. It might look a little strange. But it does offer safety for parents and children. Just look how quickly parents can lose a child on the beach. They sit there playing for you and in a split second he can be gone.”

Another person wrote, “If I would’ve found these when my daughter was little, I would’ve grabbed it in a heartbeat. My child was a runner, and if I didn’t keep a good grip on her, a couple of times, she would’ve gotten hit by a car.”

“There are so many dangers, so many predators… I completely understand. Plus you have 5 kids, so it’s hard to keep an eye on each of them. So you shouldn’t mind people judging you, it’s obviously better than your children wandering around and getting injured or kidnapped,” read another comment.
