A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said they were called to a fire at 04:37 am IST (00:07 am on Monday). "We sent a clinical team leader and our Hazardous Area Response Team to the scene. "We have not treated any patients, and we remain at the scene," she said.
In 2008, a different part of the market complex was ravaged by a fire and vendors were not able to operate for several months.
