Planning to purchase Kia Sonet? If yes, then you should wait for a while as the company is gearing up to introduce two new entry-level variants in the Indian market. The brand has not shared any official details about the same as yet. However, some reports suggested that it might drop some hints in upcoming weeks.
It has been speculated that the upcoming trims are expected to come with a sunroof, featuring slight cosmetic changes and few updates. Apart from this, everything is likely to be the same including the headlight setup, LED DRLs, front bumper, and rear design with the same LED connect taillight.
Expected Features
Rumors also suggested that the brand might carry forward some of the robust features including automatic climate control, a premium Bose speaker sound setup, and touch screen infotainment system, which will support all the wireless car connect technology.
Engine Options
It has been reported that the trims will be offered in both petrol and diesel options. The former is likely to come with either a.2-litre naturally aspirated engine or 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, while the latter is expected to be powered by 1.5-litre diesel unit.
These setups might be paired with multiple gearbox options. The list includes a 5-speed MT, 6-speed MT, 6-speed automatic and 6-speed iMT. There is will be there a 7-speed DCT as well, which likely to seen only with 1.0L turbo-petrol.
