The NEET, one of the most prestigious exams in India, serves as the gateway for aspiring medical students to enter medical college. The dream of becoming a doctor can only be realised after successfully clearing this exam. It is considered one of the most challenging tests in the country. NEET questions often test a student’s conceptual understanding rather than memorisation. This requires students to grasp fundamental concepts and apply them to different problems. Each year, thousands of candidates take this exam, but only a small fraction manage to crack it. So when you get an impressive All India Rank (AIR) in NEET, it becomes a story worth mentioning.
Such is the story of a boy who has managed to realise his dream by getting the top rank in NEET. His name is Shashank Kumar.
Shashank Kumar, who secured an impressive 14th rank in the highly competitive NEET exam, has a remarkable academic track record that showcases his dedication and intelligence. In his 10th-grade ICSE board exams, he achieved an outstanding 99 per cent, demonstrating his strong foundation in academics. Continuing his excellence, he scored 96.4 per cent in his 12th-grade CBSE board exams, further solidifying his position as a top student.
Shashank’s journey didn’t stop there. According to his LinkedIn profile, he is currently pursuing an MBBS in Surgery and Medicine at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, a dream institution for many aspiring doctors. His achievement of getting into AIIMS speaks volumes about his hard work and determination.
Beyond his academic achievements, Shashank emphasises the importance of family support in his journey. He shares that whenever he feels down or is faced with difficult decisions, he turns to his parents for guidance. Their advice has consistently helped him navigate challenges and make the right choices, contributing to his overall success. This highlights not only his academic prowess but also his strong values and reliance on family, which have played a crucial role in his accomplishments.
