However, a recent change caught everyone’s attention when the 56-year-old actress sat on the front row for designers like Isabel Marant and Vivienne Westwood in Paris Fashion Week with her natural skin and freckles proudly on display. Recently, Scarlett Johansson applauded Pamela for defying conventional beauty customs and showing her natural look at the most prestigious fashion event. In an interview with Pop Sugar, Johansson speaking about Pamela’s stand-out appearance, described her as, different and powerful.
The Avengers star said, “I think it is definitely different to see somebody that’s in the public eye, a woman in the public eye, go to a fashion show or big event with no makeup on. It’s just very different from what we’re used to. It’s a powerful message for women to see that, whether they follow suit or whatever the effect is, in the zeitgeist. It’s powerful for women to see other women rejecting standard beauty norms.”

During the same interview, Scarlett Johansson candidly shared her own experiences with skin concerns during her teenage years. She revealed her struggles with acne-prone skin, which sometimes destroyed her confidence, especially while growing up in the public eye. She recounted a specific incident during the filming of The Island when she was around 20 years old.
“The conversation on set [was] about lighting and hiding your bad skin. The conversation between the director the makeup artist and the cinematographer and the lighting person. I remember it was so, so mortifying,” she said.
Meanwhile, Pamela Anderson’s bold choice to go makeup-free at Paris Fashion Week didn’t just fascinate her fans, it also left many Hollywood celebrities impressed. Apart from Scarlett Johansson, Jamie Lee Curtis also commended her. The Haloween star shared a series of images on Instagram showcasing Anderson’s natural appearance and called her look a ‘natural beauty revolution.’
Sharing the pictures, Jamie wrote, “THE NATURAL BEAUTY REVOLUTION HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN. Pamela Anderson in the middle of fashion week with so many pressures and postures, and and and, this woman showed up and claimed her seat at the table with nothing on her face. I am so impressed and floored by this act of courage and rebellion.”
