KOCHI: The State Government should change its lethargic attitude towards the development of the Latin Catholic community, which is already facing social injustice due to historical reasons, Archbishop Susa Pakkiam has said. He was giving the presidential address at the 19th general body meeting of the Kerala Region Latin Catholic Council (KRLCC) which began in Kochi on Saturday. The Archbishop said that the Latin Catholic community should be able to identify the reasons behind the social backwardness of the community and should work on correcting them. Public Works Minister V K Ebrahim Kunj inaugurated the meeting. He said that the UDF Government would do its share to ensure social justice to the Latin Catholic community. The meeting will be on till 4 pm on Sunday.
