3-year-old found dead at Jakkur

BANGALORE: A three-year old boy was found dead under mysterious circumstances in an isolated place near GKVK Employee’s Association in Shivanahalli on Jakkur Main Road.According to the police, some passersby noticed the body lying in the bushes and informed the police. The police rushed to the spot and examined the spot before shifting the body to Yelahanka government hospital.The identity of the boy is yet to be known.“There are no external injury marks on the body and we could not ascertain the cause for the death. There are chances that the boy might have fallen in the bush and died. At the same time we can not rule out the chances of foul play behind the murder. We are investigating the case in various angles,” the police added.The police are awaiting the post mortem report to know the reason for the death. A case has been registered in Yelahanka police station in connection with the incident.Theft at TempleGold and silver ornaments worth `6 lakh were stolen from Sanjeevaraya Swamy Temple at Devarahosahalli village in Channapatna on Saturday night.According to the police, the thieves managed to enter the temple by breaking its wooden door open when the guards were asleep.The thieves escaped with cash that was kept in a hundi and the gold and silver ornaments used to adorn the deity.
