THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Over 500 students may be left out of the engineering rank list even though they have cleared the entrance examinations for engineering admissions for no fault of their own.The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) has asked 512 students who wrote their Plus-II examinations under various boards in India and abroad, excluding the CBSE and the ICSE, to produce the ‘mean’ and ‘standard deviation’ of the results of their batch before June 15.This is to enable the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations office to normalise their scores before the preparation of this year’s rank list for admission to engineering courses in the state.
