9 TD corporators of Rajahmundry join YSRC

HYDERABAD: Former urban TDP president Adireddy Appa Rao and nine Telugu Desam corporators of Rajahmundry joined the YSR Congress in the presence of party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy here on Thursday.However, Rajahmundry mayor and Appa Rao’s wi f e Adi r eddy Ve e r a Raghavamma did not join the YSRC.Appa Rao and Veera Raghavamma decided to quit the TDP in protest against the ‘failure’ of the party leadership to check groupism in the Rajahmundry urban TDP unit. Apppa Rao and TDP senior leader Kinjarapu Yerran Naidu are close relatives as the former’s son married the latter’s daughter
