Armed men loot policeman of Rs two lakh

Armed men on Saturday looted Rs two lakh from a policeman near the Police Lines in Tilaka Manjhi in Bihar's Bhagalpur district, police sources said.

A havildar, Pramod Kumar Yadav, going on a rickshaw to the Police Lines after withdrawing Rs two lakh from the bank for his daughter's marriage when he was robbed by two motorcycle borne men, the sources said.

All police stations in the area have been alerted.
