Pran Pratishtha of the Ram Temple will be done on January 22 in Ayodhya. People from all over the country are invited to attend the ceremony. The day of Ram Lalla’s consecration at Ayodhya’s Ram temple is gradually approaching. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Ayodhya on the special day. Many important rituals have already started on January 16. The case of the disputed site has been going on for many years. Over the years, there have been many stories of people who have taken pledges for the construction of the Ram Temple. One such devotion was taken by Satyadev Sharma in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. As per reports, he had taken a vow that he would not eat a proper meal until Ram temple is built in Ayodhya and Ram Lalla sits in the temple.
According to reports, Satyadev Sharma left his hometown around 37 years ago and now operates an old-age home in Jawahar Nagar, Aligarh. Around 21 years ago, he had a dream in which Lord Shiva stated that the temple of his favourite Shri Ram would not be built in Ayodhya. Satyadev Sharma then took a vow that he would not eat a proper meal until the Ram Temple in Ayodhya was constructed. Now that the temple is being built and it will be consecrated on January 22, Satyadev will keep a fast until that day and then finally eat. His family consists of three sons, a wife, a daughter-in-law, a granddaughter, and a grandson, but he stays away from all this and spends his time serving at the old age home.
In an interview, Satyadev revealed that he has been living away from his family. He revealed that he had not eaten a proper meal in 21 years. He has kept fast and will first eat a meal when the Ram temple is constructed. He said that Lord Shiva was with him. He said that he hasn’t eaten flour, rice, or pulses. He just survives on fruits.
Apart from that, he has been surviving on raw bottle gourd (loki). Earlier, he used to drink lemonade with some sugar and with some peanuts as well. All of this has helped him to survive. He also thanked the PM Narendra Modi, for taking the initiative to build the Ram Temple.
