HYDERABAD: The TJAC steering committee which met on Saturday, did not take any decision on extending its support to political parties in the forthcoming byelections to six Assembly segments in T region. The TRS, BJP and CPI (ML) New Democracy are the constituents of Telangana Joint Action Committee. Some BJP leaders urged the TJAC to spell out its stand on extension of support to constituent parties in the bypolls. The BJP, which is supporting the T cause, has dropped enough feelers that the TRS and TJAC should support its candidates or leave one or two Assembly seats to it. It has also made it clear that if the TJAC and TRS do not allow it to contest one or two seats , the BJP will not hesitate to field its candidates for all six Assembly segments.BJP leaders Rajeshwar Rao and Ashok Kumar alleged the TRS was increasing its political strength at the expense of other parties supporting the T cause.
