BANGALORE: The High Court on Monday directed former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa’s counsel to file written arguments in connection with his petition seeking to quash proceedings against him in private complaint numbers 3 and 4 by December.Justice Anand Byra Reddy, after hearing arguments of both the sides, directed counsel for Sirajin Basha, the complainant, to file his written arguments based on the petitioner’s submission before January 2, 2012 and adjourned the matter.During the hearing, when counsel for MLA Hemachandra Sagar, Ashok Haranahalli, sought details on the status of the case by submitting that he had been falsely implicated, Basha’s counsel, R Nitin, objected to it stating that the matter cannot be heard separately as the cases against the petitioner are similar in nature.Justice Anand Byra Reddy directed Ashok Haranahalli to file the written arguments and adjourned the case for further hearing till January 5.
