Mumbai: Traffic on Mumbai's western suburban lines was disturbed on Tuesday after four coaches of local train derailed near Vile Parle area.
The train was moving from Virar to Churchgate when the incident took place. No injuries or casualties have been reported due to the derailment.
On Monday too, a motor coach of a local coming from Bandra derailed while entering platform number two of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) during peak hours, resulting in the disruption of up and down suburban local services on the harbour line.
Suburban harbour line services, both up and down, were suspended between CST and Wadala Road Station following Monday's incident. However, suburban railway services between Wadala Road to Andheri and Wadala Road to Panvel were unaffected.
