HYDERABAD: "If there is no government in the state, the people will be relieved of some problems. The government is supposed to solve the problems. But the present Congress government is complicating the matters further," Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu has said.
Expressing his grief over the illicit liquor tragedies at Mylavaram in Krishna and at Choutuppal in Nalgonda districts, Naidu said the incidents happened due to inefficient and negative governance of the Congress. He alleged that as many as 80 MLAs, six to seven ministers, eight MPs and seven MLCs were involved in liquor syndicates and getting Rs 5,000 crore kickbacks. "As there is a government, the ministers, MPs and other ruling party leaders are acting for their selfish interests and ruining the people's lives.
