Health Minister inspects Vellore GH

VELLORE: Minister for Health Dr V S Vijay inspected construction work and the rough sketch of the new maternity and children ICU at the Vellore government hospital on Sunday.It will be a four-storey building and will have a maternity ward and surgery theatre on the ground floor, children’s ICU on the second floor, wards in the third floor and a computer room and conference hall on the fourth floor.  Anaicut MLA Kalaiarasu, Vellore Corporation Mayor Karthiyayini, deputy mayor Dharmalingam and Medical college dean Ravisankar were among those who accompanied the minister.
