BANGALORE: The designated CBI court on Tuesday extended the judicial custody of former tourism minister G Janardhana Reddy and his aide Ali Khan till April 7. The duo were arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation sleuths in connection with illegal mining in the state.The hearing was done via video conferencing from Parappana Agrahara Central Prison, following which Judge B M Angadi extended their custody. Meanwhile, the hearing of bail applications of the duo was also adjourned till the same date. Reddy was brought to the city from Chanchalguda Jail in Hyderabad by the CBI sleuths on March 2. Ali Khan had surrendered before the court on the same day.
