KCR not answering our charges

HYDERABAD: Refuting the allegations levelled by TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao against it, the Telugu Desam said on Friday that Rao was slinging mud without directly answering the questions raised by the TDP on the Polavaram tender.Speaking to reporters here, party senior leader T Devender Goud said the TDP was ready to prove its allegations against Rao.But, Rao did not speak about the shady tender but levelled baseless allegations against the TDP, he said and wondered why the TRS chief was not forthcoming on his links with Namaste Telangana managing director C Lakshmi Rajam.Goud accused Rao of mortgaging the Telangana movement for the sake of just one contract.The movement had been there for the last 50 years and it was not the sole property of Rao, Goud remarked.Meanwhile, at Telangana Sadhana Sadassu at Chevella, Telangana Telugu Desam Forum convener E Dayakar Rao said the TDP was ready to prove its allegations against Rao.“If we fail to prove our allegations on Polavaram tenders, all the 32 TDP MLAs from T will put in their papers.” He alleged that TRS chief was cashing in on the Telangana sentiment. “In the name of the movement, the TRS collected money.The T-sentiment will be an albatross around Rao's neck soon,” Dayakar Rao said. “KCR has been branding the TDP as a betrayer of Telangana.It is clear who the real traitor is,” Dayakar Rao said and declared that the TTDF would organise meetings in Telangana with TDP flag.
