After the record breaking run of Dhanush-Anirudh's teams 'Kolavari' and Mohanlal-Ratheesh Vegha's 'Attumanal payayil' on YouTube, it seems to be the time of Mythili now. The actress who debuted into Mollywood with Ranjith's 'Paleri Manikyam', has come up in an item dance number for the movie 'Matinee', which has been already seen by more than five lakh viewers within it's limited days release.
This is the first time that a front line leading actress is coming up with an item dance in Mollywood film on which she is playing the heroine. There are recent examples like that of Jyothirmayi and Padmapriya, but none of them were playing the lead ladies in the movies on which their item dances appeared.
Mythili who had learned some classical dances in her early ages is also seen playing the styles of the immensely popular 'Gaganam style' in this shortened video song.
'Matinee' directed by Aneesh Upsaana will be on theaters in a week's time. The movie feature Maqbool Salman and Sunny Wayne in the lead roles together with Mythili.
