Naidu demands separate department for Telugus

HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday has demanded that a separate ministerial department be set up in the state, which would oversee the welfare of the Telugu Diaspora living across the globe. Participating in the Telugu Bhasa Prachara Udyamam at Indira Park on Tuesday, Naidu said the TDP will celebrate the Matrubhasha festival every year and organise an official function, if it comes to power.The TDp chief also extended support to the agitating IKP workers.Later in the evening, participating in the induction ceremony organised for the Congress and TRS activists from Gajwel, who have migrated into the TDP fold recently, at his residence, Naidu alleged that TRS supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao had floated his own party after he was denied a berth in the TDP Cabinet.“He (KCR) is now targeting the TDP.Tell me, is it fair,” the TDP president asked
