Patna: Theatre artistes protest through plays
Different theatre groups across the state presented plays to protest against the Sangeet Natak Academy. The actors and directors of theatre group presented plays like ‘Andho ka Hathi’ and ‘Safar Maina’ at Premchand Rangshala on Sunday. They also sang Jan Geet and Pratirodh Geet to press their demands including autonomy for SNA and removal of one of its officials.
Patna: Issaq stars promote movie in state capital
State-born actor Ravi Kishan, along with lead actor, Prateik Babbar, and debutant, Amyra Dastur, was in the state capital to promote their movie “Issaq” which was released on July 26. The cast of the movie said that they were gratified with the humbleness of the people and are happy that the movie is being appreciated by the people.
Gaya: Lincoln University students visit town
About twenty-one students from Lincoln University are visiting the town. These students are associated with an organisation named Peepul First and will work for 12 days. The team visited the Maha Bodhi temple on Sunday and asked about the recent incident. The students expressed their excitement regarding their stay in the town.
Sheikhpura: CWA to felicitate 10 meritorious students
The private schools and the Children Welfare Association (CWA) have decided to felicitate the students for their excellence in Class 10 examinations. Unlike previous years, this year, too, the committee will give away awards to the top 10 students. The date for organising the programme has not been finalised yet.
