WWE Raw, 11 Sep 2023 Results: Nia Jax Returns to Attack Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez, Jey Uso Super Kicks Costs Bout
The September 11 episode of RAW brought an end to the Vince McMahon era as it was the final edition before the upcoming WWE-UFC merger. The latest installment included a Women's Championship fight, before Nia Jax returned to assault both Ripley and Rodriguez.

The September 11, 2023 edition of Monday Night Raw was built up for a big title match that was set up in the main event of the night, the match between the champion Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez. The match was built for months and Raquel returned from injury and launched an attack on Ripley. The night also featured Jey Uso teaming up with long-time rival Kevin Owens who faced the Judgement Day. Seth Rollins came out to confront Nakamura and challenge him for a bout which got rejected but Nakamura attacked Ricochet backstage out of nowhere telling Rollins he was ready to fight. The night also saw Nia Jax returning to WWE and attacking the Women’s Champion directly making a statement.

Jey Uso and Kevin Owens vs. The Judgement Day

Before the match, Jey Uso and Kevin Owens were in the ring with the Judgement Day where the faction was trying to recruit Jey into the Judgement Day. A brawl breaks off between the five men in the ring which led to a tag team match with Jey and Ownes teaming up against Fin Balor and Damian Priest. The match went on with Dominik Mysterio interfering in between and causing distractions. Judgement Day won the match because a Super Kick from Jey mistakenly landed on Owens. Balor pins KO after hitting Coup de Grace and the Judgement Day stands strong.

The Miz vs. Akira Tozawa

The Miz and Akira Tozawa faced each other in a very short match which saw the Miz beating Tozawa without much difficulty. Tozawa started the match trying to initiate an offence but he could not manage to have success and was shut down by the Miz.

Xavier Woods vs. Drew Mclntyre

Xavier Woods and Drew Mclntyre engaged in a hard-hitting encounter in a good match. The match continued the rivalry between the two teams – the New Day and the team of Drew Mclntyre and Matt Riddle. Mclntyre picked up the victory with a Claymore to Woods. The two teams have been feuding for the past few weeks since Kofi Kingston made his return.

Shayna Baszler vs. Chelsea Green (w/ Piper Niven)

The match saw Shayna Baszler continue her run of terror as she defeated Chelsea Green in a squash match. But the real action began after the match as Niven and Baszler began to brawl. Zoey Stark comes out to provide a helping hand to Baszler.

Alpha Academy and Tommaso Ciampa (w/ Maxxine Dupri) vs. Imperium

After Gunther’s coronation ceremony as the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion earlier in the show, the two teams face each other continuing the heated rivalry between Chad Gable and Gunther. The Alpha Academy and Tommaso Ciampa won the match as Gable locked the Ankle lock on Vinci to which he tapped out. The feud between Gunther and Gable takes another step and it will be interesting to see whether Gable can defeat the dominant champion or not.

Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s World Championship Dominik Mysterio Barred From Ringside

The main event of the night was a match for the Women’s World Championship between Rhea Ripley and the returning Raquel Rodriguez. The match between the two power hitters in the women’s division was a hard-hitting bout with Dominik Mysterio banned from ringside. Rhea Ripley stole the victory due to a distraction caused by the returning Nia Jax who attacked Raquel. The show went off the air with Jax head-butting Ripley and hitting her with a leg drop in the centre of the ring.
