The film to be released of Kiccha Sudeep after 'Eega' is 'Varadanayaka', which is slated for November 23 all over Karnataka.
After the coomercial success of Singham remake, 'Kempe Gowda', this film is another remake by producer Shankare Gowda.
The audio of 'Varadanayaka' was released by Sumalatha Ambarish on November 7 and the promos were unveiled by Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka R Ashok at Chancery Pavilion in the presence of huge attendance.
Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka R Ashok compared the acting ability Sudeep with Dr Kamal Haasan. He recalled his college days of watching Kamal Haasan and Rajanikanth films without looking at the title of the film. He wished him to reach the higher levels in his cinema career.
Shankare Gowda also disclosed that his film, 'Varadanayaka' has done a business of Rs 10 crore. He is taking up his next film with director Nandakishore with Chiranjeevi Sarja as hero.
Director Ayyappa P Sharma, who waited for almost two years to shape up the film because of busy schedule of Sudeep said, he is happy to direct Sudeep in 'Varadanayaka'.
Distributor Baasha was also happy for acquiring the BKT rights for Rs 35 crore of the film. He said with a confidence that 'Kempe Gowda' did Rs 9 crore business and 'Varadanayaka' would cross this business.
"Getting to do one more film of Sudeep is a boon in my career," said music director, Arjun Janya. Sudeep is like my brother and he guarded, comforted me so well stated Chiranjeevi Sarja, who is expecting a big push in his career from this film.
In his address Kiccha Sudeep informed that such a gathering was found when we stage 'Protests'. The purpose of today audio release is to invite all the department heads of Kannada cinema industry for a get together. Some of them have come. I am happy for it he stated. From this 'Varadanayaka', I want three people to find a good boost: actor Chiranjeevi Sarja, director Ayyappa P Sharma and producer Shankare Gowda.
Kiccha Sudeep thanked people of Karnataka and media for wonderful support they extended for his close friend Darshan's period film 'Kranti Veera Sangolli Rayanna', which is doing very well in the box office.
