PUDUCHERRY: Traders in Mudaliarpet area will down their shutters from 6 am to 12 pm on February 8 to protest against the February 3 attack on a spare parts shop owner. Demanding police protection from rowdy elements, Traders Welfare Association President Rajasekeran, on Monday, said they would take out a procession in Mudaliarpet and hold a demonstration in front of the local post office demanding stern action against the rowdies, who were threatening shop owners and seeking ‘mamool’.
