Actress Dolly Sohi is going through the most turbulent phase of her life. She was diagnosed with cervical cancer in September 2023. Even in these tough times, she kept the work going and didn’t let her problem hamper the shooting schedule for the serial Jhanak. Dolly reportedly ignored her health issue for 6-7 months, but now the problem has escalated to such an extent that she decided to quit shooting. Dolly has confirmed this news in an interaction with the Times of India. She said, “I have quit the show because I want to focus on my health. I was working during my chemotherapy, but now I am undergoing radiation and that takes a lot out of me. It was not possible to continue working for a daily soap and so I decided to quit. The production house has been supportive of my decision. She further adds, “Due to radiation, I have been feeling weak and unable to do anything. I have to undergo more radiation cycles, which will make it difficult for me to work.”
Dolly is facing this problem with a bold demeanour and keeps interacting with the fans on social media. In this photo on Instagram, Dolly wished her mother a birthday. She wrote in the caption, “Happy birthday Maa. A Mother Is The Only Person In The World Who Can Turn Daughter’s Worries Into Happiness. I Love You Maa.”
