Salman Khan has been really excited about his upcoming film 'Sultan' in which the actor is playing the role of a wrestler. He has visibly put in a lot of work to meet the character's requirements. However, the actor has gone a step ahead this time and made one of his characteristic faux pas. In an interview with an entertainment website, the actor talked about his hectic shooting schedule and the hardships he had to face assaying the role of a wrestler and ended up calling it similar to what a 'raped woman' feels like.
Khan has been quoted as saying, "When I used to walk out of the ring, after the shoot, I used to feel like a raped woman. I couldn’t walk straight. I would eat and then, head right back to training. That couldn’t stop.”
Twitter was furious after Salman Khan's insensitive comment and didn't take time to make him realise his mistake. Here are some of the reactions.
I know Salman Khan has fans. But if his female fans are ok with his "I felt like a raped woman" then I've just lost faith in the world.— Nehr-who? (@threeinchfooll) June 20, 2016
Wow..@BeingSalmanKhan compared his shooting schedule for #Sultan to him feeling like a raped woman...is he for real?? #ridiculous #epicfail— Varun Vishwanath (@varunvish87) June 20, 2016
Salman Khan compared his shooting schedule to what a "raped woman" feels like. Is that worse than Lata-Sachin jokes, Bollywood?— Dhruv Deshpande (@DhruvDeshpunde) June 20, 2016
kindly remove humanitarian from your bio @BeingSalmanKhan . There cannot be anything more inhuman than using raped woman analogy. SHAME— Moni (@TrulyMonica) June 20, 2016
