Bigg Boss 17 is currently gearing up for its grand finale. On Tuesday, Bigg Boss announced a surprise mid-week eviction and left everyone in shock. All six contestants – Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Mannara Chopra, Munawar Faruqui, Arun Mahshetty and Abhishek Kumar were called to the activity area following which they were asked to open their respective letters. The letters had their fate written on them.
Abhishek Kumar opened his letter and jumped with joy as it had ‘finalist’ written on it. Following him, Mannara Chopra and Munawar Faruqui also found out that they were the finalists of the controversial reality show. When Arun, Ankita and Vicky were asked to read their letters, Vicky’s letter had ‘evicted’ written on it.
Ankita Lokhande broke down into tears as she bid adieu to her husband. Even though Vicky tried to console his actress wife, she kept crying. The couple then shared a tight hug before Vicky walked out of the Bigg Boss 17 house.
Later in the episode, Ankita got emotional and said, “I think he deserved more than me. He had to take the negativity because of me, and I feel bad for that.”
Ankita and Vicky entered the Bigg Boss 17 house together in October 2023. The couple’s journey in the show was no less than a roller coaster ride. They had several arguments and major fights during which they went on to hint at divorce from each other.
However, just a day before his eviction, Vicky went down to his knees and apologised to Ankita. “Therapy yahin hai. Abhi main ghutne mein jaake inko sorry bol dunga (Therapy is here. I will bend down on my knees and say sorry to her),” he said.
“Sorry Manku, meri galtiyan hai mujhe maaf karde (Sorry Ankita, forgive my mistakes). Kyuki mein sach ek baat bolna chahta hoon. Bahar bhi ghar pe hum dono hi rehte hai. Toh uss vakt aapko aapki galtiyan shayad koi batane wala nahi hota aur aapko samajh bhi nahi aati. (I want to say the truth. We live alone at our house and there is no one to point out our mistakes),” he added.
“Aaj pehli baar aisa hora hai ki yeh 100 dino mein mujhe itne saare log aur jab vahi sawal puch rahe hai na toh shayad mei apna lookback kar raha hu toh mujhe aisa lag raha hai, Ohh, shayad sach mein uss samay mei mujhe nahi ehsaas ho paa raha tha. Shayad uss vakt aisi chize ho rahi thi joh bilkul nahi honi chahiye thi (For the first time in 100 days, I have realized that many people are saying the same thing. Now, when I look back, I feel that something has happened, and I didn’t realize it. Maybe something happened that shouldn’t have happened). “I am so thankful that I am here only because of her. I have never shied away from accepting this,” he said.
