Recently, she shared pictures from Kasauli and Delhi where she was shooting her upcoming film Metro… In Dino. The romance drama is directed by Anurag Basu and is scheduled for release on September 13, 2024. While sharing the behind-the-scenes of Metro… In Dino, Sara shared stunning photos that captured the beauty of the mountains and the warmth of the bonfire. In one of the photos, Sara Ali Khan shared a photo with a woman named Champa, who hosted them in Kasauli. The last photo in her Instagram post was taken in Delhi’s Lodhi Garden.

Sara captioned this post, “Oh Pine, will you be mine? In nature you’re closest to the divine, Sometimes sunkissed, sometimes under moonshine.” Her photos have over two lakh likes. Commenting on them, an Instagram user wrote, “Sara promoted travelling in india like no other did!”

In her Instagram Stories, Sara mentioned her host Champa and wrote, “The most loving, warm and generous lady, Champa Aunty. Oblivious to the film industry, or city life- to her far away means Chandigarh and we were in Kasauli. The host hand-picked oranges and most heartwarming chat. The sweet transition from recognising a heroine to appreciating a human.”

In an interview with Outlook Traveller, Sara said that she likes to interact with locals while she is travelling. She said, “I interact a lot with locals. Like when I went to Vaishno Devi, I struck up a fascinating conversation with the man whose pony I was taking to ride up to the shrine. I also love walking around a new place.”

While talking about her “favourite vacation spots”, the 28-year-old actor said that she likes travelling in the US “because it was the first region I explored extensively”. She mentioned London for “the multiple experiences it offers” and said that she loves Dubai for shopping. In India, she said her favourite vacation spot is Goa. She added, “I want to go to Ladakh and Kashmir. Abroad, I want to travel to South Africa and also explore Eastern Europe.”

This year, Sara has three upcoming films. While Murder Mubarak and Ae Watan Mere Watan are in post-production, Metro… In Dino is still being filmed.

Metro…In Dino is a romance and drama anthology about couples in an urban setting. It has an ensemble cast of Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
