Trisha has finally reacted to Mansoor Ali Khan’s apology. On Friday afternoon, the Ponniyin Selvan actress took to her X account and revealed that she has already forgiven Khan. “To err is human,to forgive is divine,” she wrote with a folded hands emoji.
This comes hours after Mansoor Ali Khan issued a statement and sought an apology from Trisha. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to his X handle and shared Khan’s statement a part of which read, “My co-actress Trisha, Please forgive me!”

Mansoor Ali Khan’s apology comes a day after he was questioned with regard to the insensitive and derogatory comments he made against Trisha. He was been booked under Section 354 A (sexual harassment) and Section 509 (word, gesture, or act intended to outrage modesty of woman) in the case.
Mansoor Ali Khan grabbed everyone’s attention after a video of the actor went viral on social media in which he said in Tamil, “When I heard that I was acting with Trisha, I thought there would be a bedroom scene in the film. I thought I would carry her to the bedroom just like I did with other actresses in my earlier movies. I have done so many rape scenes and it’s not new to me. But these guys didn’t even show Trisha to me on the sets during the shoot in Kashmir.”
Later, Trisha also broke silence on Mansoor Ali Khan’s comment and called it “sexist, disrespectful, misogynistic, repulsive”. “A recent video has come to my attention where Mr Mansoor Ali Khan has spoken about me in a vile manner. I strongly condemn this and find it sexist, disrespectful, misogynistic, repulsive, and in bad taste. He can keep wishing, but I am grateful never to have shared screen space with someone as pathetic as him, and I will make sure it never happens for the rest of my film career as well. People like him bring a bad name to mankind,” she wrote on X.
