Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) will be aiming to keep their lead intact at the top of the Ligue 1 table when they resume their campaign this weekend. In their next outing, the French giants will be up against third-placed Monaco in the domestic league on Saturday, November 25.
PSG will be without their skipper Marquinhos for the Monaco clash as the Brazilian defender has been side-lined because of a hamstring injury.
Marquinhos suffered the injury during Brazil’s defeat to Argentina in the World Cup qualifier earlier this week. PSG will also miss the services of their 17-year-old midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery due to an ankle injury.
A victory this weekend will help Monaco catch up with PSG on the Ligue 1 points table. With seven wins and three draws from 12 games, Monaco currently have 24 points under their belt in the domestic league and will head into this weekend’s fixture having played out a goalless draw in their last game with Le Havre.
