Tehri Hydro Development Corporation (THDC) Limited is open to taking in candidates for various training positions, including stenographers, mechanics, wiremen, and others. This recruitment drive will fill 90 apprenticeship positions in the establishment. Eligible individuals may fill out the application forms available at thdc.co.in, the THDC’s official website.
The registration period began on December 12 and will conclude on January 10, 2024. The forms with the required documents should be sent to AGM (HR&A), THDC India Limited, Administrative Building, Bhagirathipuram, Tehri Garhwal 249124.
Candidates who wish to apply for the positions should review the eligibility criteria carefully. The candidate’s age should be between 18 and 30 years old. Age relaxations are provided for certain categories, that is, 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy layer), and 10 years for 40 per cent PWD candidates. Candidates who have qualified Class 10 or ITI (Regular) in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 are eligible for apprenticeship training.
The official notification reads, “THDC India Limited, A Mini-Ratna Schedule ‘A’ Company, invites application from eligible candidates who are having domicile of Uttarakhand for undergoing one-year apprenticeship training under Apprentice Act 1961, as amended from time to time in the trades mentioned below at our Tehri and Koteshwar locations.” The notice clearly states that candidates who have Uttarakhand Domicile are eligible to apply.
The notice further stated that candidates who have received apprentice training or are presently undertaking apprenticeship training in any other establishment under the Apprentice Act 1961 will not be able to apply for this apprentice training drive.
The stipend will be per the provisions of the Apprentice Act 1961 with amounts to Rs 7000 per month. The entire training duration will last for one year.
Documents Needed To Apply For THDC India Limited Apprenticeship:
The following documents are to be submitted duly signed by the candidates.
— SSC/ Matriculation Marksheet and Certificate
— ITI marks with Certificate
— Proof of date of birth(Matriculation Certificate)
— Caste Certificate, if applicable
— Certificate of physical Disability/PH, if applicable
— Character certificate
— Certificate of Project Affected Family/ project affected area (if applicable).
Aadhar card (mandatory)
— Domicile certificate of Uttarakhand state only.
— Registration Number-Print out the registration number generated on apprenticeshipindia.gov.in portal.
— Candidate has to submit Medical Fitness Certificate obtained from Medical Officer.
There will be no interviews to select the candidate. Qualified candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit based on marks received in the particular trade, that is, the ITI test. If the candidates’ marks are the same, the applicant with the higher age will be chosen.
