New Delhi: BJP's Delhi unit will on Monday launch the "Ek Note, Kamal Par Vote" campaign for collecting voluntary contributions from public ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The "Ek Note, Kamal Par Vote (one currency note, vote on lotus)" campaign will be launched by BJP national president Rajnath Singh and Delhi's election in-charge Nitin Gadkari, state unit chief Vijay Goel and other senior leaders.
BJP workers will collect donations from the people and spread the party's poll agenda during the campaign, Goel said. Party office-bearers of all 272 mandals in Delhi will be present at the launch. "We will urge the people to be a part of the BJP's 'Mission 272 Plus' campaign by contributing through donations and their votes," he said.
"Our aim is to win all seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi to contribute to the mission of making Narendra Modi the Prime Minister. Our workers will try to reach out to every household and connect with every voter," he said.
