Kolkata: The Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Wednesday announced candidates for 19 seats in Uttar Pradesh. The party has fielded Umesh Mishra for the Rae Bareli constituency and Madan Mohan Mishra in Azamgarh.
Among others, the party has also fielded candidates in Varanasi, Lucknow and Muzaffarnagar.
Sonia Gandhi will be fighting elections from Rae Bareli while Mulayam has announced candidature from Azamgarh. BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will be contesting from Varanasi.
