When it comes to transporting a massive almirah, one typically envisions using a pick-up truck or some form of four-wheeled vehicle. However, a viral video is challenging this notion, depicting a man transporting a huge wardrobe on a bike, all without the assistance of a pillion rider. In the oddly thrilling footage, a group of individuals is seen initially hoisting the wardrobe onto the back of the bike. Once secured, the man takes his seat and sets off. Somehow the furniture stays put even as the man takes turns, drives over small bumps and covers the last stretch of his journey on a dirt road.
It is unclear when and where this video was taken. On Friday, Mahindra Group chairperson, Anand Mahindra shared his video on X and wrote, “So I guess this is what a 10-minute furniture (not food or groceries) service would look like…” This video got over 4 lakh views.

Commenting on it, an X user wrote, “Looks like they really nailed the ‘assembly required’ part of the 10-minute furniture service. Just don’t forget the extra screws and a little bit of patience!”

Someone observed, “Great effort. The reality is that motorbikes are stronger, and it shows the power of early 90’s manufacturing quality.”

While many were impressed by the video, a few pointed out that it gave a wrong message about road safety. Sharing this sentiment, an X user wrote, “Going down the road, going off track, bumping up and down the entire road. That’s some serious death wish, the car driver moved away to avoid this dodo is the only sane thing in this.”

Expressing a similar opinion, another person wrote, “I think transporting a large wardrobe on a scooter is dangerous and ill-advised. While it’s impressive that it was delivered successfully, such actions risk safety and should not be attempted or encouraged for viral fame.”

Someone suggested, “Why doesn’t M&M (or anyone else FTM) come up with trolleys which can be attached behind motorbikes or cars. This way such bulky & oversized items can be transported using everyday vehicles w/o breaking one’s back.”

This video once again shows the power of “jugaad” and how experience and confidence can seemingly defy the laws of physics.
