There are many caves across the world that captivated human imagination with their allure and profound mysteries. Caves are the sources of secrets waiting to be uncovered. One such name of the cave has been in the headlines recently. It is believed that whoever went inside the cave, never came back again. We all know Bihar is a treasure trove of religious, historical, and educational significance. One mysterious cave is located in Maharshi Mehi’s ashram in Barari Bhagalpur, Bihar. It is said that whoever went inside the cave, never came back again. Ajay Jaiswal, the manager of Maharshi Mehi’s ashram mentioned in an interview that they are also unaware of how many years old this cave is. According to the manager, Maharshi Mehi came inside this cave once, as he was looking for a place to meditate. He also did penance inside the cave and had seen the auspicious sight of the deity.

Jaiswal also added that he heard it from his ancestors that whoever goes inside the cave never comes back. A similar incident happened with a person living in Bhagalpur. A man named Arun Kumar Bhagat narrated an incident from the 1970s, when he was a college student. The person said that, at that time, there was no door in the cave. Many people avoided going inside. He and his friends once decided to go inside the cave, but after sometime they decided to come back. One of his friends was very curious to explore the place. The person mentioned that his friend went inside and never came back.

The person also mentioned that his friend kept shouting from inside for several hours. They suggested he find a way that is visible outside and instructed him not to go down. Fortunately, somehow, he himself managed to come outside. He had injuries all over his body.

Arun Kumar also added that, this cave is very puzzling as it is very difficult to go inside and come back. It is also believed that it has a door that opens in Ganga Ji and the other is connected to the fort of Munger, but no one has confirmed it yet till now.

According to the people living near Bhagalpur, this cave is a mysterious and ancient cave. There are multiple doors in order to confuse the enemies. The people also added that the temple administration locked the cave when several mysterious incidents started happening and people were facing difficulty to come back after entering the cave. Now it remains only as a sight to see and entry inside has been prohibited.
