'Wished Ray So at least Someone Does': WWE Interviewer Cathy Kelley Takes Dig At Dominik Mysterio On Father’s Day

WWE interviewer Cathy Kelley took a slight dig at Dominik Mysterio on Father’s Day in a social media post. For the unversed, Dominik and his father Rey Mysterio currently have an ongoing feud in the WWE. Easily amongst one of the more prominent father-son rivalries, the feud began two years ago in 2022. Since then, Dirty Dom has disrespected his father on several occasions.

Taking a dig at Dominik’s behaviour Cathy shared a post on X saying that she wished Rey a happy Father’s Day because she was certain that Dominik hadn’t. “Just saw Rey and told him happy Father’s Day so at least someone does,” she wrote.

As for the Mysterio feud, it has been quite evident that Dirty Dom does not like his dad. He has himself clear in multiple interviews in the past. This father-son feud began at WWE Clash At The Castle in 2022 when Dominik betrayed his dad. At the premium live event, Dominik attacked Rey to leave the entire WWE Universe in disbelief. The young wrestler chose to align himself with the Judgment Day alongside stars like Rhea Ripley, Finn Balor and Damian Priest. He even walked out on his father’s WWE Hall of Fame induction speech last year, ultimately leading to a father-son clash at WrestleMania 39.

Days ahead of the clash, Dominik Mysterio gave an interview to Alex McCarthy. He took a massive shot at his dad and said, “He’s done. Like Damian [Priest] said, he’s washed and I just really don’t think that he wants to be in there with me, not only because I don’t think he has the balls to, but he understands that he can’t hang in there with me.” Dominik further spoke about Rey was not interested in a match with Dominik and said, “At the end of the day, it’s on him. I’ve proven my point, I’ve been in there, provoked him multiple times, but he’s not taking the bait, so I can’t see it happening, but if it does it’s going to be on him.”

Rey had enough of Dominik Mysterio’s hateful comments as he accepted his challenge for a match at WrestleMania. Rey had the last laugh as he beat his son at the Show of Shows in 2023.

Speaking of Father’s Day, Dominik Mysterio also received a strange wish on the auspicious occasion. While several superstars penned down emotional words for their fathers, Liv Morgan took a different approach. She posted a picture of herself and Dominik on X and wrote, “Happy Father’s Day, Daddy”. The unsettling post left several WWE fans scratching their head.

The current Women’s World Champion is yet to explain the reason behind the bizarre Father’s Day wish.
