Cedric Charlier's fifth minute strike ended India's hopes in the Hockey World League Final as Belgium edged past the hosts 1-0 in the second semi-final to set up a summit clash against world champions Australia.
India now have a chance for consolation when they face the Netherlands in the bronze medal match at the Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel International Stadium in Raipur on Sunday.
