BANGALORE: The Cyber Crime Police have successfully managed to block Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa’s fake twitter account created by some miscreants under the name “Yaddisaar”, which has been created to tarnish his image. The unknown author tweeted about the ongoing political imbroglio mentioning Yeddyurappa’s stand that he would not quit the post at any cost. Since the contents posted on the account is objectionable, Yeddyurappa’s Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Syed Quaza Moyiddeen has filed a complaint with the cyber cops last week. The police struggled hard to track down the IP address to ascertain from where the twitter account was generated, but failed.Since the Twitter website is managed from California, US, the cops communicated with the Twitter management there to block the account. The management agreed to suspend the account but are not ready to share the details of the IP address and locations of the person who started the account, a senior police officer who is supervising the investigations said. The account said that, “I hold Karnataka’s highest Kurchi. No one can shake me. I talk. You Listen. Ok?An officer said they are communicating with the service providers constantly. “These social networking sites function abroad and they don’t respond to our cases,” he added.
