After the recent rumours linking Nico Hulkenberg to Sauber, Force India seem more determined to hold onto the other driver, Paul di Resta, for next season. "We don't expect any changes and we would like it to be business as usual, because we have two brilliant drivers," Robert Fernley, Force India's deputy team principal, was quoted as saying recently.

The 26-year-old Scot had been linked with Ferrari to replace Felipe Massa, but contract developments between the Brazilian driver and the Italian side put paid to his chances. He was also touted to replace Lewis Hamilton at McLaren before the team brought in Mexican driver Sergio Perez to partner Jenson Button.

Meanwhile, the recent reports claiming Hulkenberg joining Sauber sent the Force India camp into a tizzy. The German driver has been in good form lately, finishing seventh in Japan before and ending sixth in Korea.

In a recent interview, Hulkenberg although hasn't promised about his future at Force India, he made clear that he wanted to finish the season on a high. “We just need to make sure that we have four more weekends like this one. We need to fight and stretch ourselves to achieve that every single time now, but it is possible,” he told SPEED.com.
